Scylla, inspired by the Greek mythological sea giant that ruled the treacherous whirlpools of the Strait of Messina, is formed of twelve interlocking blades creating a vortex of disturbed water.

The artist draws continual inspiration from the fundamental truths of mathematics and science, often starting his works with the ancient principles that guided our ancestors in navigating the seas, measuring time, tracking the stars, and laying the foundations of modern civilization.
