“Curving bands of mirror reflect the immediate surroundings inviting you in to explore further.”
We invited Sally Fawkes and Richard Jackson to create a bespoke and site-specific glass installation. Each piece of theirs is produced through a long process of grinding
and polishing until the finely balanced form, in combination
with layers of surface carving and engraving, emerges. Rich
and associative colour is then applied to areas of the outer
planes as well as mirrored surfaces, which add a further layer
of complexity and animation to the work.
