The series features 13 unique hand-cut and folded paper installations on cotton rag paper, created by artists Anna Maria Bellmann and Tahiti Pearson. Each piece draws inspiration from the intricate patterns and forms of decorative stucco plasterwork found in Najd villages translating traditional architectural details into delicate, contemporary artworks.
Characterized by remarkable precision and an eye for aesthetics, the works explore the interplay of light, shadow, and structure. The folded and layered papers create depth and movement, inviting viewers to engage with the pieces from different angles and discover new details with every glance. The collection is both a tribute to heritage and a celebration of meticulous craftsmanship.
